To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han
This is my first Jenny Han book and with all the hype I had read and seen lately I was super excited to get into this book.
Short Review;
I didn't realise until I had to stop reading just how immersed I had become with this story, and I found myself itching to get back and finish it.
Long Review;
I'm sure most of you will know what this is about, but here's a quick synopsis
This is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all. (excerpt from Goodreads).
I love how the relationships are portrayed in this book, not just the ones between Lara and her crushes, but the family dynamics as well.
If you like contemporary I think you should go pick this up and give it a go. Don't go spoiling yourself and reading more reviews. Go now. I'll wait right here. (:
